About the Role
The core mission of Architect is to standardize DevOps allowing both developers and operators to be successful in building and running cloud-native software. We want you to help us inspire and equip developers everywhere to revolutionize the way every company manages their infrastructure.

As a dev advocate at Architect, you represent all of us to the developer communities you engage with and serve as a thought leader for cloud-native architecture and operations. You will collaborate internally to champion the needs of the community and drive business impact. Our ideal candidate will have a great stage presence, a body of written work, an existing following on one or more social media platforms, an interest in both software development and DevOps, and deep engineering experience. You’ll also be excited to partner with and enable engagement from our internal engineers.

  • Create interesting educational content for developers in a variety of formats: blog posts, YouTube videos, webinars, demos, sample apps, tools, etc.
  • Speak at conferences and meetups to build Architect’s reputation as a thought leader in modern software development, DevOps, and cloud-native infrastructure
  • Engage with the developer community through Github, StackOverflow/StackExchange, Slack channels, and other channels of engagement
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in our market and ecosystem, keep a pulse on the competition in key usage areas and markets, and communicate your findings to the rest of the team to inform our product strategy
  • Define and own metrics to measure the success of our developer content and outreach efforts and initiatives, optimizing for the best community experience
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on the developer community and champion a high bar for developer experience across our platform, support, and marketing
  • Create developer-facing documentation and training materials to foster the growth of our developer community
  • Champion Architect’s participation in, and engagement with, the open-source community
